Every year, many interesting world records are set. Among them, many are related to food. Recently, Switzerland set a new world record by making the longest chocolate pie in the world! It was 1,221 meters long and weighed over 4.2 tons! In order to make the amazingly long pie, 200 volunteers and professional bakers teamed up in Geneva on November 11. It took about four hours to make it.

They used 875 liters of water, 576 liters of milk, 864 kilograms of cream, 432 kilograms of butter, 800 kilograms of flour, and 400 kilograms of chocolate to make the pie. This achievement has been registered in the Guinness Book of Records! The previous record was set in Belgium in 1992.

The new record holding cake is 183 meters longer than the previous. The cake was divided into 30,000 pieces and sold for 100,000 francs ($105,000). The proceeds were donated to support cancer patients. What a special pie!
