 Who
doesn’t like watching magic? Kids especially like it very much. Some
of them even want to be a magician someday. Until just a few years
ago, most talented magicians were from
Western countries. However, there is a Korean magician who surprised
the world with a brilliant performance and became a role model for
those who want to be a magician. Let me introduce magic superstar
Lee Eun-gyeol!
Lee Eun-gyeol was very quiet and shy when he was little. His parents,
who were very concerned about his personality, had him learn
magic. Lee liked to learn it, too. He always brought his magic props to school.
 “I
will check your personal belongings today.
Put your bags on the desk,” his teacher said one day. While going
through students’ bags, the teacher found Lee’s bag filled with magical items.
“Aren’t these magical props?
Why do you learn this useless stuff instead of
studying hard in school?” his teacher asked him. “This is not useless.
I will be a great magician someday,” Lee confidently said to the teacher.
Then, he showed off his magic tricks in front of
the teacher and classmates.
“Wow, you are the best, Eun-gyeol!” Everyone in the class gave him
a big round of applause. “I’m very sorry that I got you wrong. Keep
practicing magic, then you
will become the best magician in the world,” his teacher encouraged him.
 “I will,
teacher. I will invite you to my magic show in the future!” Lee said.
Lee became a great magician as his teacher said. Lee Eun-gyeol is
currently recognized as Asia’s best performing magician. His faith in magic and his sincere efforts to become
a magician led to a magical success! |
