It¡¯s already the year 2013. How did you start your new year? Many people celebrate the New Year¡¯s Day by making a plans. However, most people are burnt out by February. By summer, our resolutions are long forgotten! So, how can you make your new year¡¯s resolutions work?

What are your resolutions for the year 2013? All of you must be passionate and hopeful about the New Year. In order to make the New Year filled with joy and happiness, we need to make good plans first and stick to them.

Just prepare a pen and paper. Then, take a moment to think about the things you want to accomplish in 2013. Then write down your ideas randomly.

Write down everything that comes into your mind. The next step is to choose the real ones out of many. Choose achievable, realistic ones and see your goals as often as possible.

When making New Year¡¯s resolutions, don¡¯t build them upon a foundation of guilt, lack, or fear.
Do not focus your mind on something you want but don¡¯t have, or something you are doing wrong.
Look at your resolutions in a new dimension.

Instead of thinking about what is wrong with you, imagine what it would feel like to have exactly what you want.
When doing this, try to relax your mind and body. Then it would be easier for you to focus. Try to believe that you¡¯ve already accomplished the things you have planned. It is also important to write positive affirmations about yourself.
