 Usually cats and dogs don’t
get along well with each other. But one cat and
dog’s unlikely but heart-warming friendship has surprised the world. The
dog’s name is Terfel and he is a Labrador mix. Sadly, the 8-year-old
dog suffers from cataracts. He
is almost blind.
However, he is not worried or sad. This is because he has a special
friend who always helps him! His friend is none other than a stray cat!
They met when Terfel’s owner Judy Godfrey-Brown
let the cat into the house. Judy named the cat Pwditat. The dog and
the cat became good friends instantly.
To our surprise, Pwditat helps Terfel get around the house. She
knows that her dog friend cannot see! “Pwditat seemed to instantly
understand that Terfel was blind and wanted to help him,” said Godfrey-Brown.
“She uses her paws to lead Terfel around
the house and the garden. They are glued to
each other and even sleep together now. They are fantastic friends.
They really love each other!” What an unusual friendship! |
