These days, perhaps, most people around the world know kimchi, traditional Korean dish. It has gained much popularity in the United States among celebrities such as Hugh Jackman, Gwyneth Paltrow and Jessica Alba.

Recently, one more celebrity was added to that list. U.S. First Lady Michelle Obama posted a photo of jars of kimchi to her Twitter account. She also showed off her own recipe titled ¡®Make your own Simple Kimchi¡¯ for it. She tweeted, ¡°Last week, we picked Napa cabbage in the garden.
Now we¡¯re using it to make kimchi in the kitchen. Make it at home.¡± The recipe is slightly different from traditional kimchi. It seems like it was adapted for American tastes, but it still looks very delicious!

Last January, Michelle Obama uploaded a photo on the White House homepage showing harvesting cabbages grown in her garden. In fact, the First Lady, who is now leading a health campaign called ¡°Let's Move¡± to fight against child obesity, is always interested in a healthy diet. It is expected that many Americans will try making kimchi, following her example. Enjoy your own kimchi, Michelle! I want to try it!
