you want to buy books that you can’t easily find, what do you do?

amazon.com. Unlike other online/offline bookstores, it has various kinds of rare books as well as huge
numbers of currently famous books. Let’s learn about Jeff Bezos who
created this wonderful online bookstore.
Little Jeff Bezos always thought differently from others. He always tried to
come up with something new. When he grew up, his brilliant ideas shined at
last.
When Jeff opened amozon, he suggested a unique idea. “What if I sell
books that people rarely look for?” Jeff thought there would be quite
large numbers of people who seek rare books while most people look
for best-selling books.
“I can make a profit if I get those people
as frequenters,” he assured.
Then, he traveled everywhere to find the rare books, and he finally
got 110 books. He posted those books on amozon
along with 100,000 copies of best-selling books.
 At first,
those books were not welcomed by people. The books were all stuffed
into the corner. However, a few months later, something surprising
happened.
“Does this website find rare books?” “I doubted this site at first,
but I couldn’t believe it really found the books!”
Books started to be sold with customers’ online comments written about
the website. Some people even asked the website to find books that
they wanted to get. Soon, this website was on everyone’s tongue.
Amzon.com is now recognized as the largest
and most famous online bookstore in the world. His constant efforts
for creating something new with his patience finally paid off by the success of
today’s amazon! |
