What rides do you enjoy most if you go to an amusement park? The rollercoaster ride is especially full of thrills. On May 11, the world¡¯s longest and highest wing coaster called GateKeeper made its debut at Cedar Point amusement park in Sandusky, Ohio. It cost almost $30 million to build!

The project was assigned to the Swiss manufacturer Bolliger & Mabillard, which had already built two other wing coasters in the United States - Wild Eagle (Dollywood) and X-Flight (Six Flags Great America).

It is said that the GateKeeper wing coaster holds three world records. First, the ride is 1,270 m long and 52 m high. Second, during the ride, passengers will be upside down for about two minutes and 40 seconds. Third, it turns round and round at a speed of 107 km per hour.

¡°GateKeeper¡¯s world-record-breaking statistics, incredible flying maneuvers and special elements make it a unique coaster experience,¡± said Cedar Point General Manager and Vice-President John Hildebrandt.
