 Friends
play an important roles in
your life. Good friends make your life happy. What can you do for
a friend if he or she has a hard time? Recently, true friendship was
proved at an elementary school
in California. A 10-year-old boy named Travis Selinka has some of
the best friends in the world. Why is that?
The fourth grade student suffered from a brain tumor. Although he
regained his health after receiving radiation treatment for seven
weeks, Travis was worried about meeting his classmates again because
he had lost his hair. However, as soon as Travis entered the classroom,
he was surprised at his friends, and burst into tears. What happened to them? Don’t be
surprised! The fifteen friends all shaved their heads in order to encourage Travis.
Isn’t it amazing?
 “I was astonished that they did
this for me. It was amazing just knowing that I have all my friends
there,” Travis said. You know what they say, “Friends in need are
friends indeed.” Travis and fifteen boys must be real friends. I envy
you, Travis! Stay healthy for your warm-hearted friends! |
