Recently, a video clip of the deep-sea squid½ÉÇØ¿À¡¾î has become the talk of the town! The Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute (MBARI)¸óÅ×·¹À̸¸ Çؾ翬±¸¼Ò, located in California, publicly presented a research paper on a rare deep-sea squid named Grimalditeuthis bonplandi.

In the video, the squid is swimming at a depth between 1000 and 2000 m. It is different from the general squid. A general squid has four pairs of legs and a pair of tentacles. However, the deep-sea squid has a tentacle longer than its body, which is long and thin like a thread. Study has shown it is used not to hunt, but it¡¯s used to move the squid in the water.

An official in the Institute said, ¡°We will continue studying how the rare deep-sea squid survives in the deep sea, which is known to have few prey.¡± We expect that the study will answer many people¡¯s questions about it.
