Korea to Build the World’s First Invisible Building    [18-10-2013] Soon, an “invisible tower” will be built in Korea. An invisible tower? I beg your pardon? According to Forbes and CNN, on September 15, the American architectural firm, GDS Architects, was granted permission to build the “Tower Infinity” near Incheon International Airport. Once completed, it will reach 450 m (1,476 ft). It is expected to be the sixth-highest tower in the world. State-of-the-art LED lighting and cameras on the exterior will make the building seem to disappear, thus supporting the claim to be the world’s first “invisible building.” The tower will house restaurants, a movie theater, three observation decks, a roller coaster and even a water park. Tower Infinity will have the third highest observation deck in the world. The project will be backed by the Korea Land & Housing Corporation한국토지주택공사.
