Soon, an ¡°invisible tower¡± will be built in Korea. An invisible tower? I beg your pardon?

According to Forbes and CNN, on September 15, the American architectural firm, GDS Architects, was granted permission to build the ¡°Tower Infinity¡± near Incheon International Airport. Once completed, it will reach 450 m (1,476 ft). It is expected to be the sixth-highest tower in the world.

State-of-the-art LED lighting and cameras on the exterior will make the building seem to disappear, thus supporting the claim to be the world¡¯s first ¡°invisible building.¡± The tower will house restaurants, a movie theater, three observation decks, a roller coaster and even a water park. Tower Infinity will have the third highest observation deck in the world.

The project will be backed by the Korea Land & Housing CorporationÇѱ¹ÅäÁöÁÖÅðø»ç. Charles Wee, CEO of GDS Architects said, ¡°Tower Infinity will serve as momentum to let the world know about Korea¡¯s innovative technology.¡±
