Earlier this year, two Asiatic black bears¹Ý´Þ°¡½¿°õ were born. They grew up healthy attracting many people¡¯s attention. And recently, they were finally released on Mt. Jiri!

The bears have been trained to live in the wild during the past months. They learned how to climb a tree and find food by themselves. Now, they are ready to go back into the wild, their natural home.

Asiatic black bears are endangered animals. Therefore, the government protects them by law. A total of 29 Asiatic black bears now live in Jirisan National Park. The government said that they will increase the number of the bears up to 50 by 2020.

Let¡¯s hope the bears adapt well to the mountain and stay healthy!
