Incredible Friendship    [21-03-2014]
Untitled Document
You may say you have many friends, and all of them will help you when in need. What about you? Are you someone¡¯s true friend? What should you do to become a sincere friend?

Vincent Butterfield, a seven-year-old boy, shaved his head. Why? He did so for his friend Zac Gossage, who is six years old. Zac was treated for leukemia, a type of cancer. Because Zac lost his hair during chemotherapy and cried about the loss of his hair, his mother did not want him to go to school.

When Vincent heard that Zac was suffering from the disease at school, he told his father that he wanted to shave his head. He said, ¡°I didn¡¯t want Zac to feel like the only one without hair.¡± Last November, his mother was shocked by her son and her husband because they both shaved their heads. After she learned the reason, she wasn¡¯t surprised any more. Stacy Tooley, Zac¡¯s mother said, ¡°I¡¯m grateful that he has such an amazing friend.¡± Both of them have been best friends since kindergarten.

Moreover, Zac and his mother made 10 scarves in December in order to raise funds for his friend¡¯s family. He sold them on Facebook and donated $200 to them.

This story encourages readers to think about their relationships with others, especially friends. Do not hesitate to help your friends whenever you can. ¡°Treat others the same way you want them to treat you.¡± Luke 6:31.
