Coca-Cola
bottles are getting a second life. The Coca-Cola Company figured
out a way to reuse finished bottles at home. They invented bottle
caps that change empty bottles into something useful in life.
There are 16 kinds of bottle caps. Each cap has a different shape
and its own role. For example, one can squirt water like a water
gun. Another can sharpen pencils, and collect the shaved pieces
into the bottle. Others can be used as a shampoo dispenser, a marker,
a night lamp, and more! You just have to put shampoo, ink, or whatever
you need in the used bottle, and twist on the right cap.
These bottle
caps are free in Vietnam, if you just buy a bottle of coke. The
Coca-Cola Company is giving away 40,000 of these caps. The company
has plans to do this in other parts of Asia, too. It wants to encourage
people to reuse plastic bottles. Also, it hopes that people think
about saving the earth. This bottle cap idea will help people get
cheaper tools and make less trash. |
