Toilet?! - Human Waste & Earth¡¯s Future is the title of this bizarre exhibition opened on Jul. 2 in Miraikan, a national museum in Tokyo, Japan. Many kinds of toilets and figures of human poo were put on display there. The exhibition aims for people to openly talk more about toilets.

Restrooms take up a big part in our lives, but they are taken for granted most of the time. The exhibition, however, helps people think about the importance of toilets and the connection between human poo and nature.

The exhibition offers various experiences to visitors. People start the tour by viewing different kinds of toilets. High-tech toilets, toilets used in space, and toilets in nursing homes are some examples. Then, they learn how human poo is flushed from these devices and how the poo ends up in nature. The exhibition also has a huge toilet slide. Guests can take a ride into the giant toilet and experience a virtual sewage system.

Life without toilets would be very inconvenient and unsanitary. People usually do not know the importance of toilets, because they are easy to find. Keep in mind what helpful tools toilets are!
