 The
world is full of wondrous things. And there
are so many amazing animals in the world. But have you ever seen a
giant fish? Look at the picture!
Can you believe your eyes? Two men are holding a giant fish! Don't
be surprised. The fish is
about 100 years old. And it weighs over 226 kilograms!
The monster fish was caught by the two British men on the Fraser River
in Canada.
Recently, Nick Calleya and
George Carstairs caught the 3-meter-long white sturgeon using a rod. The two men battled
with the giant fish for over an hour, taking turns to hold the rod.
"We were constantly going up and down
the river for half a mile or so," said Nick Calleya. "We
managed to take it into a shallow spot further down stream
and George jumped out and lassoed its tail and held
it."
With the giant fish finally tamed, the two friends took
pictures with it. After taking pictures, they released the fish back into
