people believe that cats have nine lives. You may think that's not
true. But a little cat named Gracie Mae has at least more than one life!
The 10-month-old cat lives in Florida with her owners Seth and Kelly
Levy. So, what happened to this little cat?
Recently, Seth Levy took
an airplane. But he lost his suitcase. It was picked up
by the wrong person. A man living in Texas named Rob Carter picked
up Seth's suitcase by mistake.
When Rob opened the suitcase, he was very surprised. It wasn't his,
and there was a big surprise waiting inside. The little cat Gracie
jumped out! He considered keeping the cat
before he knew she had a home. "I was going to name the cat Suitcase,"
said Rob.
Then, Rob saw the cat's collar and the phone number
on it. So he called Seth's wife Kelly and said, "Hi, you're not
going to believe this. But I am calling from Texas, and I accidentally picked up your
husband's luggage. And when I opened
the luggage, your cat jumped out!"
Now can you believe that cats have nine lives? Well, at least the
little cat survived the trip halfway across the United
States and came back home safely again! Isn't that
amazing? |
