 The
granny in this picture recently celebrated her 128th birthday.
Her name is Maria Olivia da Silva. She lives in Brazil. And she is
very special. Why? This is because
she is the oldest person in the
world!
Maria was born on February 28, 1880 in Sao Paulo. She got married
twice and had 14 children. Sadly, however, only 3 of
them are still alive. Now she lives with
her 57-year-old son in a small village.
Even though she is very old,
she is very healthy. She also loves to
talk. "I want to thank God for giving me good health," Maria
said at her birthday party.
"I hope to live 1~2 more years."
We all want you to stay healthy and live longer, Maria! Please take good care of yourself!
