What
do you do with your pen? Of course you use it to write something on
a piece of paper. But for Ryuki Omura, a 16-year-old Japanese boy,
pen is not only a writing tool. He uses it
for spinning, too! As a matter of fact, he recently became the first
pen-spinning champion in Japan!
Last Sunday in Tokyo, there was a pen-spinning contest. It was organized
by the Pen Spinning Association Japan, and 276 people participated
in the contest.
Omura showed off his cool tricks and won the contest!
According to him, the most
important thing is to make the combination of tricks as
smooth as possible. If you
want to see Omura¡¯s cool pen-spinning tricks, visit http://ptj2008.pen-spinning.org.
¡°Pens are always around, so you can practice and enjoy pen-spinning
anytime, anywhere,¡± said Mitsuhiro Nakamata of the group. ¡°In the
future, we want to take this contest international!¡±
So, why don¡¯t you practice your pen-spinning skills from today! |
