people keep pets at home these days. For many people,
their pets are like family. And they take their pet dogs or cats
everywhere they go. Some people even put their pets on their laps while driving.
In California, many people like to drive with their dogs. In fact, pet-loving celebrities are
often photographed driving around Los Angeles with their small dogs.
However, pets on lap while driving may soon be banned! This is because
a California lawmaker named Bill Maze
wants to ban drivers from holding pets on their laps while driving.
Maze introduced the bill after seeing a woman
driving with three dogs on her lap. He says pets are a distraction that put drivers
at risk. Well, this is sad news for animal lovers who enjoy driving
with their pets. But safety is the most important thing!
