Look
at the boy in the picture. He is studying in a classroom. His name
is Moshe Kai Cavalin. He is 10 years old. Moshe lives in LA with his
parents. He looks very normal. But he is very special! Why? This is because
he is a college student!
Little Moshe started studying at the East Los Angeles College at the
age of 8. So, is he doing well?
Oh, yes. He maintains an A-plus average in such subjects as algebra, history, astronomy and physical education! Moshe
says other students can also achieve their success if they study hard
and stay focused on their work.
¡°He is the youngest college student I¡¯ve ever taught and one of the
hardest working,¡± said Daniel Judge, his statistics professor. ¡°He
is a pleasure to have in class.
He is a nice little boy.¡±
One of Moshe¡¯s primaryinterests is ¡°worm holes,¡± a scientificphenomenonconnected to Albert Einstein¡¯s
theory of relativity. ¡°I¡¯d
like to prove that worm holes are
really there,¡± said Moshe. He hopes to transfer to another university
and study astrophysics. Good luck with
your study, Moshe!
