But Hemingway is best known for his last book The Old Man and the Sea³ëÀΰú ¹Ù´Ù (1952). He received the Nobel Prize in Literature with the book. Hemingway passed away in 1961. Had he lived, he would have turned 109 on July 21.

People in Florida celebrate Hemingway Days once a year for 5 days. The Ernest Hemingway look-alike contest was one of the Hemingway Days events. There was also a short story writing competition. It was directed by Hemingway¡¯s granddaughter Lorian Hemingway.

Surprisingly, the 69-year-old man in the picture, Tom Grizzard, looks exactly like Hemingway! There were 141 other participants in the contest. But Tom beat everyone and won the contest! Congratulations, Mr. Grizzard! Hemingway would have been very surprised to see you!
