They can actually get along very well
with each other! Here’s proof. Recently in Australia, a
dog saved a litter of newbornkittens from a house fire!
The dog’s name is Leo. He lives at a house in Australia’s southern city of Melbourne
with his owner and four kittens.
Last Sunday, fire broke out overnight at the house when
everyone was sleeping. Fortunately, Leo’s owner
family safelyescaped from the burning house. But the four
newborn kittens were still inside the house. Surprisingly, Leo risked his life to save them
from the house fire!
When fire fighters arrived, the dog was guarding the kittens inside
the house despitethick smoke. The fire fighters
managed to rescue the brave dog and
the four little cats safely. Leo had to be revived with oxygen and heart massage,
but he is totallyhealthy now. Of course, the
kittens are also healthy thanks to Leo. See? Now you
know that dogs and cats can be good friends!
