Billionaire Builds a 60-Floor Home!
 There
are many rich people in this world. And they all have fancy big houses. Well, one
billionaire in India wants
to have the fanciest and biggest home in the world. A business man
named Mucache Ambani living in India started building a 60-floor home in his home country.
Can you imagine a home with 60 floors? You might think that Mr. Ambani
needs a huge home because he has a large family. The truth is, there
are only 6 people in his family. This home will have a parking lot that can hold
168 cars, 3 helicopter landing zones, a movie theatre, a large swimming pool and a garden
that is a size of a small park! Believe it or not, this home will
also have 600 maids to serve Mr. Ambani’s
family and help out with the house chores! This home will
be finished by September in 2008.

The stuff you see in this photo
is awards given by the Chinese
police. And they belong to an 85-year-old
man named Ryu Chi-wan living in China. About 20 years ago, he started
learning kung-fu. He practiced it every day not
to fight people, but for his good health. But one day, something terrible
happened. A friend of him got attacked by pick pockets. So, he decided
to fight them. He really wanted to stop people from being robbed and attacked. For
the last 20 years, Ryu has been fighting crime on the streets of China.
And he has caught countless robbers so far. As a result, the Chinese
police thanked him with many awards that you see in the photo. Ryu
is a really amazing citizen!
A Baby Needs Help!

the baby in this picture looks scary. He doesn’t have eyes.
His name is Hong Shi. He was born last year in China. Sadly, he was born with a
very rare disease where skin and
bones cover the eyes.
Hong Shi’s family cried and searched entire China to find a doctor
who can help him. Since this disease was very
rare, no doctor in China was able to help him. However, recently one
brave doctor decided to help
the little boy. Luckily, he got a little bit of his eyesight back.
Soon enough, the same doctor
will do another operation to bring back Hong
Shi’s full eyesight. The sad thing is that his parents work in a factory, and they have very
little money. But many people are donating to help the poor parents.
But this might not be enough. Let’s pray for Hong Shi and his
parents! |
