¢º Today, several kinds of seals are endangered or don¡¯t exist anymore.

¢º The largest seal is the Elephant Seal. It can weigh more than 2,265 kilograms.

¢º The smallest seal is the Ringed Seal. It weighs about 45 kilograms.

¢º On average, male seals weigh 135-360 kilograms. Females weigh 90-225 kilograms.

¢º Male seals are darker in color, but females are lighter.

¢º Seals eat squid, shrimp

¢º Seals can dive very deep and stay underwater for 20-30 minutes.

¢º Seals can close their nostrils when swimming.

¢º Seals have great senses of smell and hearing.

¢º Seals have very good eyesight. They can see well both in and out of water.

¢º Seals live between 30 to 40 years.
