The world is full of amazing kids. Moshe Kai Cavalin is one of them. He was born to a Taiwanese mother and an Israeli father in America. He lives with his parents in California. So, why is he so special? He is only 10 years old, but he has already graduated from college! He is interested in astrophysics the most. He is not just an ordinary genius boy. His dream is to help make the world a better place to live.

Cavalin doesn¡¯t look very special. He looks just like a normal young boy. But he is very special. His friends attend elementary school. But he entered East Los Angeles Community College two years ago. He studied astrophysics there and graduated from the school with good grades on June 5 this year.

¡°He is the youngest college student I¡¯ve ever taught and one of the hardest working,¡± said Daniel Judge, his statistics professor. ¡°He¡¯s actually a pleasure to have in the class. He¡¯s a well-adjusted, nice little boy.¡±

Isn¡¯t he amazing? But he doesn¡¯t think he is special. ¡°I don¡¯t consider myself a genius because there are 6.5 billion people in this world and each one is smart in his or her own way,¡± he said. ¡°Other students can also achieve success if they study hard and stay focused on their work,¡± he added. His parents also don¡¯t want to call their son a genius. ¡°He is just an average kid who enjoys studying as much as he likes playing soccer, watching movies, and collecting toy cars,¡± his mother said.

Like most kids, Cavalin wants to be a lot of different things when he grows up. ¡°I want to be a movie actor and compete in the 2016 Olympics in martial arts,¡± he said. In fact, he earned numerous medals and trophies for martial arts so far. The little boy likes to play the piano, too. He likes to do many other things. However, there is one thing doesn¡¯t really like doing - playing video games. ¡°I feel it¡¯s a waste of time to play video games. And it does not help the world in any way,¡± he said.

Next year, Cavalin plans to enter a 4-year university. Currently, he is taking a break. He is enjoying playing the piano, scuba diving, practicing martial arts and reading books. He is also writing his own book to teach kids how to do well in school. ¡°I like to study just because knowledge leads to wisdom and only by wisdom can we help the world,¡± said Cavalin.
