Look at those flapping ears. They are so cute. And I personally think the long nose is really cool. Elephants are loved by all kids. They are really cool to look at. Let¡¯s learn little more about them. Elephants are very intelligent animals. And they even have emotions.
They can cry and laugh just like humans. They are the largest animals that live on land. And they live for 60-70 years. They are very similar to humans.
Did you know that elephants are very loving and caring? The elephants in the wild take extra care over dead bones of their family members. An average elephant eats close to 200 kilograms of food. Here¡¯s something funny. An elephant poops around 40 kilograms a day! Elephants are vegetarians.
They use their long nose to grab the food and put it in their mouth. Ever thrown a peanut at an elephant? If you haven¡¯t, try it. It will catch it in the air, and put it in its mouth! Many elephants live in Thailand and Asian countries. Sadly, so many of them died because hunters killed them for their tusk.
Now, there aren¡¯t so many of them left in the world. But animal lovers are trying hard to protect them.
