famous singer will be very busy this year. He is well known for his
cool dancing and great music. He is not just famous in Korea. He is
loved by all of Asia. And even in the U.S., he is very popular. His
name is Rain. Well, Rain isn’t going to be busy just because of music.
It’s because he became Seoul City’s good will ambassador.
What is a good will ambassador? It’s like a spokesperson or a representative. Basically,
Rain represents Seoul to the world.
Wow, that must be a difficult job. The title isn’t for anyone. So,
why Rain? Seoul City chose him because he is well known in Asia. 2
years ago, a famous U.S. magazine called The Times chose Rain as one
of the 100 most influential people in the
world. That’s right. Rain isn’t just looked upon in Asia.
This year Rain will be promoting Korean food to the world. He will
participate in many upcoming events to show the
world that Korean food tastes wonderful. Let’s hope Rain can do the
job well. Rain says he is honored for the opportunity, and he will
do all he can to promote Seoul and Korean
