Fashion magazines usually use pretty models or actresses as their cover girls. But fashionable First Ladies can be cover girls, too! Just take a look at the picture. America¡¯s first black First Lady Michelle Obama made the cover of the March issue of the famous fashion magazine Vogue. She became only the second First Lady to make the cover after Hillary Clinton.

Mrs. Obama is well-known for her great fashion sense. She chose the beautiful dress for the shoot herself. Most cover models have their clothes chosen for them by magazine editors. ¡°She doesn¡¯t need any help. She loves fashion and knows what works for her,¡± said Vogue¡¯s editor Andre Leon Talley. ¡°It¡¯s a cover about her warmth, which comes from within. It¡¯s the warmest cover you¡¯ve seen in a long time on Vogue.¡±

Many Americans are very proud of their First Lady. She is President Barack Obama¡¯s good advisor. She is also a good mother for her two daughters. ¡°I¡¯m going to try to take them to school every morning, as much as I can,¡± Mrs. Obama said.
Wow! You must be very busy doing many things, Mrs. Obama. But please keep your fashion sense, too!
