 Recently
the entertainment world was saddened. As a matter of
fact, many people in Korea were in sorrow. It was because a
very hard working and talented actress passed away. Jang Jin-young,
a 35 year old actress said goodbye to the world. She was fighting stomach cancer for nearly
a year.
Jang was a woman with a good spirit. She was known as
the smile queen. With a positive attitude towards everything,
she was a hard working person. She started a modeling career in 1992
after competing in the Miss Korea beauty contest. Later she switched to acting.
 Since then,
she had appeared in many hit movies.
And she received many awards. Just last year, she
went for a health check up, and found
that she had cancer. She believed she could beat the disease. So, she
tried very hard to get well again. Sadly, the
cancer was just too strong for her to win. Even until the last moment,
she didn’t lose her smile. She said farewell to her friends and
family. And she passed away peacefully.
It’s sad to have such a beautiful person pass away. It’s also sad
to lose so many talented people
this year. Let’s wish they will all rest in peace. It’s always
so hard to say goodbye. |
