you like eating sushi? I’m sure many of you
do. Many people in Japan also love eating it. In fact, sushi was born in
Japan. And there are so many different kinds of delicious sushi rolls in
the country.
But have you ever seen sushi that looks like a president? What am I talking
about? Just take a look at the picture!
The sushi looks just like U.S. President Barack Obama! Recently, a Japanese sushi
chef created Obama sushi rolls.
His name is Kawasumi.
He used brown rice for the skin,
black sesame seeds for the
hair, and tiny shrimps for the lips. The
chef also made an American flag with white
squid and red tuna. The Obama sushi rolls
are served with the American flag.
So, why did the chef make the Obama sushi? The African-American president
is very popular in Japan. Mr. Kawasumi
wanted to show his love of the U.S. president with these amazing Barack Obama sushi
rolls! Good job, Mr. Kawasumi! I
